When I was pregnant with my oldest, I went a day without feeling him kick. I was sure it was just new mom worries, but we headed to the hospital just the same and discovered he had no heart beat and had heart failure in utero. They told us to prepare ourselves because his chances were grim. They performed an emergency c section and my son was born with little signs of life.  It took them six hours to stabilize him enough to be helicoptered to a nearby hospital. He was immediately started on heart medication for a congenital heart condition and called a true miracle baby. 

On his first night home, he became unresponsive and we found ourselves back at the ER, a second helicopter ride to LA and we were told for the second time to prepare ourselves because he probably wouldn't survive. As a new mom, I felt completely helpless, overwhelmed and exhausted. The answer was more tests and more meds.

Home again, my son was constantly vomiting, unwell and we seemed to be playing a game of non stop med adjustments because nothing seemed to work without making him sick or causing new side effects. From the start, his little body was sensitive. He was underweight and failing to meet milestones. He eventually developed seizures that they attributed to his severe stomach issues and was hospitalized again. The recommendation was yet another medication, but this time it was an antibiotic for an entire year, one that was not recommended for children even and it was enough to cause me to question, so I left a message for the specialist. 

The next part was the grace of God and when everything changed for my family. I threw my back out! I literally crawled into my chiropractor's office when my son's specialist returned my call. He was so upset that I would dare question him stating that he had been doing this for so many years, had seen patients far worse than my son and then how dare I question him because he was the dr and I was just a mother. Being the rational and composed person I am, I hung up the phone crying and shared with my chiropractor. He spoke amazing truth to me at that moment. He told me that I had it backward- that the doctor worked for me and not the other way around and that no one knew my baby like I did.  He told me about baby probiotics and an elimination diet to figure out how the foods I was eating was effecting my baby and he had me bring my son in to show me how to give him stomach adjustments to help him keep his food down.

My son became a different baby! He stopped throwing up! He started gaining weight and meeting milestones. He was happy and thriving and within a few months time, he was able to be weaned off of every single medication he was on. Now don't get me wrong, we are incredibly thankful for my son's specialists and doctors and have a wonderful relationship with his team even to this day! But at that moment, I was empowered and knew we were on to something that would forever shift things for my family!

 I was open to natural health, but I had no idea where to start between supplement and diets and treatments; it all was incredibly overwhelming. I researched obsessively. I knew I couldn't be an expert on everything, but I could become an expert at one thing! So I chose something that was simple, natural, safe, effective, and already working well for my family and began my journey with essential oils. 

Since then I have set out on a mission to be for others what i needed when my son was born!

That was eleven years ago! 

And now I get to help people who are hurting eliminate the overwhelm and create a simple plan to take control of their health naturally. I am passionate about what I do and give all the glory to God.
